What an exciting weekend of sport we have just seen, with fantastic performances in the Inter Schools Relay Gala, with Hillview finishing a very close second to Phoenix and winning the Inter Schools Hockey Festival at SAIPS.
We had swimmers from Year One to Year Six representing the school and everyone contributed to our success. Well done to Coach Barrett and his team of swimming coaches; Mr Njunga, Ms Davies, Mrs Smithyman and Mrs MacTavish for preparing and training the team so well.
The Hockey Squad also produced consistent performances across all the teams to win the overall tournament. Once again we had young pupils representing the school up the age groups and that bodes very well for the future of sport at Hillview. Thank you to the coaches Coach Barrett, Mr Njunga, Mrs Bramsen and Mrs de Ruiter for all your hard work with the teams and ensuring the continued success of the Hockey Squad.
We also have the X Factor at all the events, and that is the support of the Red Army! Our parents in red always make themselves noticed with their colourful and loud encouragement to all our teams. Your support makes a big difference, thank you.
